A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist with 2 to 3 years of high-volume pharmacy experience to fill a short-term contract position in La Vergne, TN. This role involves supporting a busy environment with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily in a specialty setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
• Conduct final verification to ensure accuracy of medication selection and labeling
• Verify directions and prescription information against hard copy orders
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow efficiency

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with mail order or specialty pharmacies preferred
• Experience using Wellsky pharmacy order entry system is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing processes
• Positive attitude and adaptability to a temp-only assignment

Schedule:

• Immediate start available
