We're seeking an Indiana-licensed Retail Pharmacist for a contract assignment with the potential to remain in place until a permanent hire is made.
Position Highlights
- Full-time schedule with consistent hours
- Outpatient pharmacy setting
- Ongoing assignment beginning June 29
- Opportunity to make an immediate impact in an established pharmacy
- Three days of paid training and orientation provided before start
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Approximately 40 hours per week
What You'll Do
- Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Review and approve technician-prepared prescriptions prior to dispensing
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and controlled substance requirements
- Enter prescription orders and patient information with a high degree of accuracy
- Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly while delivering exceptional patient service
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacist License required
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with PioneerRx preferred but not required
