Per Diem Pharmacist | Lafayette, Louisiana

A Pharmacist role is available for a one-day assignment on February 12th in Lafayette, Louisiana. This per diem position supports an HIV-focused pharmacy, offering an opportunity to apply specialized medication knowledge in an impactful setting. Experience with 340B pharmacy programs and HIV medications is highly valued, though candidates with retail pharmacy backgrounds will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with company policies.
• Maintain medication stock levels and manage controlled drug records and inventories.
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to assist in daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana.
• Preferred experience with HIV medication and 340B pharmacy programs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

• Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
