Per Diem Pharmacist | Lafayette, Louisiana

A healthcare facility in Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a qualified pharmacist to provide per diem coverage on February 12th during first shift hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role requires expertise in safe and accurate medication dispensing, with a focus on HIV-specific pharmaceutical care and familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs. Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the guidance of the pharmacy manager, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly in line with organizational policies
• Maintain accurate stock levels, controlled drug records, and inventories in compliance with regulations
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software for dispensing and record-keeping tasks

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana
• Experience with HIV medications and 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
