Sterile Compounding Pharmacist – Come Join the Team!
Location: Lake Butler, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
Start: ASAP
Contract: 13-week+ contract-to-hire
Are you a pharmacist who knows your stuff and brings a great attitude to work? We want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations
• Review medication profiles for safety, allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility
• collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals
• supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff
• maintain cleanroom, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring standards.
• Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compounding, batch quality, and regulatory documentation.

What we’re looking for:
• Active FL Pharmacist License
• Minimum 1 year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>
• Good attitude + strong work ethic
