A specialty pharmacy in Lake Charles, LA, is seeking a staff pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage starting early May through mid-August. This position offers weekday hours with no weekend or on-call requirements, ideal for professionals looking for a focused, supportive work environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard staff pharmacist duties within a specialty pharmacy setting
• Support the existing pharmacist to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
• Utilize Epic Willow Ambulatory for order entry and dispensing
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technician and liaison to maintain workflow
• Participate in 1-2 weeks of training prior to coverage start, focusing on Epic WAM system

Qualifications:

• Valid Louisiana pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in specialty pharmacy and retail pharmacy environments
• Familiarity with Epic Willow Ambulatory system preferred or willingness to train
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a small pharmacy staff
