Per Diem Pharmacist in Lake Worth, FL

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) on an as-needed basis, providing essential leadership when the regular manager is unavailable. This role supports a community pharmacy setting with an emphasis on delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Location:

• Lake Worth, FL

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Per diem, shifts scheduled as needed

Responsibilities:

• Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge during manager absences, overseeing pharmacy operations
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage prescription dispensing accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and manage inventory controls

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida Pharmacist License is mandatory
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is required
• Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Ability to exercise leadership and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
