Pharmacist | Lakeview, Oregon

This opportunity offers a hands-on role as a staff pharmacist working daytime hours in a critical access hospital setting. You will play a key part in managing pharmacy operations, ensuring safe medication distribution, and delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within a 25-bed facility averaging 10 inpatients daily.

Location: Lakeview, OR
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: 13-week contract-to-hire

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the working Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist providing inpatient pharmacy services
• Manage and oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency
• Perform sterile compounding as required
• Review and verify intravenous preparations prepared by pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with a pharmacy team of two technicians staffed daily
• Utilize Cerner for order entry and Omnicell automation systems

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacy license
• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy practice
• Strong background in pharmacy management
• Competence in sterile compounding techniques
