A critical access hospital with a 25-bed capacity is seeking a per diem pharmacist to provide coverage for specific weeks over a 13-week period. This opportunity offers a well-supported environment with two technicians daily, utilizing Cerner for order entry and Omnicell automation systems. The hospital maintains an average daily census of 10 beds, ensuring a manageable and focused inpatient pharmacy workload.

Location: Lakeview, OR
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, per diem coverage
Shift: No on-call required

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the staff pharmacist providing inpatient pharmacy services during assigned weeks
• Manage medication order entry and verification using Cerner
• Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Perform sterile compounding as needed, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy laws

Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon pharmacy license
• Inpatient pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
