A critical access hospital in Lakeview, OR, seeks a per diem pharmacist to support their pharmacy team over a 13-week period. This opportunity provides an essential role in a small hospital setting, offering a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a staff pharmacist in a 25-bed critical access hospital with a daily census of approximately 10 patients.
- Perform inpatient pharmacy duties including medication order entry using Cerner.
- Utilize Omnicell automation for medication dispensing.
- Collaborate with a pharmacy team consisting of two technicians daily.
- Fill in on a per diem basis for specific weeks during the 13-week assignment to ensure consistent pharmacy coverage.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon pharmacy license.
- Experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency with sterile compounding procedures.
- Familiarity with Cerner order entry and Omnicell automation is beneficial.
