Pharmacist in Lakeview, OR

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a staff pharmacist in a supportive critical access hospital environment, managing daily pharmacy operations while working closely with a dedicated team. The position is based in Lakeview, OR, and involves working day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no on-call duties.

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy staffing and operations, performing inpatient pharmacy duties, conducting sterile compounding as needed, and verifying IV preparations performed by technicians. This role supports a 25-bed facility with a daily census averaging 10 patients, utilizing Cerner for order entry and Omnicell automation systems to enhance workflow efficiency. The pharmacy team consists of two pharmacy technicians working daily.

Key qualifications and experience include:

• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience
• Pharmacy management skills
• Competency in sterile compounding
• Valid Oregon pharmacy license

This contract-to-hire opportunity spans approximately 13 weeks, providing a pathway to direct hire based on performance and mutual fit.
