A healthcare facility in need of a dedicated pharmacist is offering an immediate opportunity to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This assignment involves working in a small hospital environment with approximately 50 beds, providing an excellent setting for hands-on patient care and collaborative interaction with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and calculations as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in Nevada
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Day shifts with 10-hour hours
• Potential schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off, subject to employer approval
