A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 45-bed community hospital that utilizes Cerner IT systems. This role requires a highly skilled pharmacist licensed in California with 2-3 years of inpatient experience. Location: Bakersfield, CA
Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
• Variable days and afternoon shifts (start times either 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM)
  Start Date: Immediate
  Duration: 13 weeks (contract)

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in an inpatient setting
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize pharmacological care
• Monitoring patient medication therapies and ensuring compliance with hospital policies
• Maintaining thorough records and adhering to safety and regulatory standards
• Utilizing Cerner IT system for medication management and documentation

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong understanding of hospital pharmacy operations and Cerner IT system
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to varying shifts and patient care needs
