Pharmacist - Lancaster, New Hampshire

This opportunity is for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a hospital with diverse units including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department. The role requires a strong background in hospital pharmacy, with the ability to work independently, especially during weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting
• Manage medication distribution and ensure accuracy in dispensing
• Support critical units such as ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapy
• Utilize Meditech for electronic health records and Omnicell for medication management
• Work independently during weekend shifts, ensuring safe and effective pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech system is highly desirable
• Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing systems is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions independently on weekends
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing

Location:

• Berlin, New Hampshire

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5 p.m.
• Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
