A well-established 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist for a contract position starting ASAP. This role offers a 13-week assignment with potential for extension, providing a dynamic work environment with variable day and afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians on medication therapy, and managing pharmacokinetics. The position requires hands-on experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems to ensure seamless pharmacy operations. Exposure to oncology and chemotherapy medications will be essential to support specialized patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Approximately 2-3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system (required)
• Experience managing oncology and chemotherapy medications
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
