Pharmacist - Lancaster, PA

A leading 500-bed hospital is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract position starting ASAP. This role is based in York, PA, and offers a dynamic schedule with variable days and afternoon shifts over a 13+ week assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Consult with physicians regarding pharmacokinetics and medication management.
• Manage and dispense oncology and chemotherapy medications with precision.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication tracking and administration.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required.
• Several years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proven experience with EPIC electronic health record systems is essential.
• Familiarity with oncology and chemotherapy medication protocols is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
