Pharmacist in Lapoint, UT

A community hospital pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This role is based in a ~40-bed Level IV trauma center and offers a dynamic environment for pharmacists with experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetics-related tasks to optimize patient outcomes
• Consult regularly with physicians and nurses to provide medication-related expertise
• Support medication distribution and inventory management within the facility

Qualifications:

• Active Utah pharmacist license
• Approximately 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Contract Details:

• Immediate start
• Duration of 13 weeks or longer
• Contract-to-hire option available
