A community hospital pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This role is based in a ~40-bed Level IV trauma center and offers a dynamic environment for pharmacists with experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
- Manage pharmacokinetics-related tasks to optimize patient outcomes
- Consult regularly with physicians and nurses to provide medication-related expertise
- Support medication distribution and inventory management within the facility
Qualifications:
- Active Utah pharmacist license
- Approximately 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Contract Details:
- Immediate start
- Duration of 13 weeks or longer
- Contract-to-hire option available
