Pharmacist - Laporte, MN

A specialty pharmacy in Walker, MN is seeking a qualified pharmacist for a contract position from June through September. This role involves providing expert pharmacy services with a focus on long-term care and retail pharmacy duties to support patient health and medication management.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a specialty pharmacy setting.
• Perform long-term care and retail pharmacy duties, including medication review and patient counseling.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Provide immunizations and emergency care support as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage pharmacy inventory.

Qualifications:

• Graduated with a PharmD or holds an MTM certification.
• Immunization certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Demonstrates strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy preferred.
