Pharmacist - Laporte, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy in Walker, MN is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role offers a unique blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties, providing variety and professional growth in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both retail and long-term care environments
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper storage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts as part of the schedule

Qualifications:

• Current and active Minnesota Pharmacist license
• Recent hands-on experience in pharmacy practice, particularly in retail and long-term care settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Rotating weekends required
