Pharmacist - Lapwai, ID

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a community hospital with approximately 150 beds, located near Lewiston, ID. This contract position is ideal for pharmacists who have hospital experience and are ready to engage in a dynamic healthcare setting. Location:

• Lapwai, ID (near Lewiston)

Schedule:

• Variable days or afternoons
• 8-hour shifts preferred
• Possibility of 7-on/7-off, 10-hour shifts (day or afternoon) considered

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Consult with physicians and healthcare staff on drug therapies and adjustments
• Monitor pharmacokinetics to ensure optimal dosing and patient outcomes
• Participate in daily operations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Idaho pharmacist license or ability/willingness to obtain it quickly
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, can-do attitude with adaptability to variable schedules
