Pharmacist - Lapwai, ID

Provide pharmaceutical care in a community hospital setting with approximately 150 beds in Lewiston, ID. This contract opportunity requires a licensed pharmacist (or someone willing and able to obtain an Idaho license promptly) with hospital experience and a proactive, positive attitude.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians on medication therapy, and managing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring. The role demands attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule options primarily consist of variable days or afternoon 8-hour shifts. There is potential consideration for a 7-on/7-off schedule with 10-hour day or afternoon shifts, but 8-hour shifts are preferred. The assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks, with an immediate start date preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Idaho pharmacist license or willingness to obtain quickly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Strong clinical knowledge including pharmacokinetics
