Pharmacist - Lapwai, ID

A community hospital with approximately 150 beds in Lewiston, ID, is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations on a 13-week contract. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to patient care in a dynamic hospital setting, playing a vital part in medication management and clinical pharmacy services.

Schedule:

• Variable days/afternoons with 8-hour shifts preferred
• Potential option for 7-on/7-off 10-hour day or afternoon shifts may be considered

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring high-quality workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians to provide expert medication consultations
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize drug therapy and patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Idaho, or ability and willingness to obtain licensure quickly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
