Staff Pharmacist – Full Time
Location: Baltimore, MD
Job Type: Contract (Full time, 3–5 days per week for a minimum of 6+ weeks)

This specialty pharmacy, focused on behavioral health medications, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide short-term coverage. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with behavioral health medications and a strong commitment to delivering quality pharmaceutical care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 3 to 5 days per week (flexible based on candidate availability, with 3 days preferred)

Pharmacy Environment:

• Daily prescription volume of approximately 100–200
• Utilizes PioneerRX pharmacy software
• Support team includes 5 pharmacy technicians and 1 staff pharmacist
• Two pharmacists will be on shift simultaneously for collaborative support

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure safety and compliance
• Provide effective patient counseling to support medication adherence
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Pharmacist license in good standing, with no disciplinary history
• Previous retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in behavioral health medications
