A pharmacy professional is needed to support pharmaceutical services at a small rehabilitation hospital with 40 beds. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic inpatient setting, providing comprehensive pharmacy care alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Billings, Montana
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies, adjustments, and protocols
- Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication management
- Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to patient care discussions
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Montana Pharmacist license
- Experience working in an inpatient or hospital pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to interpret and apply pharmacokinetics
- Ability to work full-time with flexible availability starting ASAP
