Pharmacist in Lebanon, PA

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA. This contract role offers an engaging environment where patient care and collaboration are central to daily responsibilities. The position begins as soon as possible and extends for 13 weeks or more.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and performing pharmacokinetics assessments. Experience with chemotherapy protocols is a plus to address specialized medication needs. The hospital utilizes EPIC and Pyxis systems, and familiarity with these technologies will enable smooth integration into the team.

The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Candidates should be prepared to work every third or fourth Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records
• Knowledge of Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Exposure to chemotherapy medication management is preferred
