Pharmacist - Lebanon, PA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a pharmacist seeking to apply their expertise within a 160-bed community hospital. This contract position based in Lebanon, PA offers a dynamic work environment where professional skills are valued and patient-focused care is paramount.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Shift hours between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Work every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Consult effectively with physicians and nurses regarding patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Exposure to chemotherapy protocols is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
