Pharmacist in Lebanon, PA

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA, offering a rewarding role supporting patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. This contract position begins ASAP and lasts for 13 weeks or more, providing a chance to apply your expertise while gaining diverse hospital experience.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication management and clinical decisions
• Managing pharmacokinetics evaluations and drug therapy monitoring
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems to support pharmacy workflows

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience, demonstrating clinical competence
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automation systems
• Exposure to chemotherapy handling and protocols is preferred
