Pharmacist in Lebanon, PA

A permanent opportunity is available for a pharmacist to work in a non-compounding, closed-door pharmacy setting. This role is based in Elizabethtown, PA, offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications in compliance with professional standards, facility protocols, and all applicable state and federal laws.
• Conduct medication reconciliation processes, when possible, to ensure a smooth continuum of care for patients upon discharge.
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care with a patient-centered approach.
• Consult with patients on prescribed medications and supplies, including dosage, frequency, special considerations, and potential drug interactions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacist license for the state of Pennsylvania.
• Experience working in a pharmacy environment focused on patient care and safety.
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing regulations and clinical practices.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with patients and healthcare professionals.
