A 150-bed community hospital located near a vibrant metropolitan area seeks a dedicated Night Pharmacist to support patient care during overnight hours. This critical role involves ensuring accurate medication dispensing, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes.

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians on night shifts
• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clinical teams
• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed for assignments
