Location:
- Suburban Kansas City area (Lees Summit, MO)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with precision and accuracy
- Supervise and collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians
- Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics to optimize patient care
- Consult proactively with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy
- Utilize healthcare IT systems including Meditech and Pyxis for efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Pharmacist license required
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Retail pharmacists welcome—excellent chance to transition and expand clinical expertise in a hospital setting
