Per Diem Pharmacist - Lehighton, Pennsylvania

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available to support pharmacy operations in Lehighton, PA, with the potential for long-term placement or transition to full-time hours. This role welcomes both experienced pharmacists and new graduates, offering training and mentorship to ensure success. Throughout shifts, pharmacists work alongside skilled pharmacy technicians, providing strong support and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians during busy and slower periods
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Support inventory management and medication storage
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy degree and current pharmacist licensure
• New pharmacy graduates encouraged to apply; training available
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 PM to 8 PM
• Some weekend coverage: Saturdays 8 AM to 4 PM and Sundays 10 AM to 2 PM
