An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to serve in an Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP) role on a contract basis. This position calls for leadership skills combined with strong pharmacy expertise to oversee pharmacy operations effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Lead pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
- Manage, mentor, and support pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality service and operational efficiency.
- Oversee medication distribution, inventory control, and proper record-keeping.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication therapy for patients.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and support continuous professional development within the pharmacy department.
- Handle administrative duties related to budget, staffing, and operational reporting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current pharmacist licensure with proven experience in pharmacy practice.
- Previous leadership or supervisory roles within a pharmacy setting, preferably with experience as a Director of Pharmacy or similar.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage the pharmacy department efficiently during transitional periods.
