A well-established ambulatory infusion therapy clinic is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to provide expert clinical pharmacy support in home infusion services. This role focuses on delivering high-quality IV and infusion care for patients with acute and chronic medical needs, operating in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Schedule:
- Approximately 2 days per month with flexible scheduling
- Additional PRN coverage available as needed
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process physician orders, verifying insurance benefits to ensure timely patient care
- Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations adhering to USP 797 standards
- Safely dispense medications and infusion-related supplies while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate care
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain workflow and quality assurance
- Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide coverage for colleagues as required
Qualifications:
- Active Maine Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience; 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred
- Demonstrated infusion therapy and sterile compounding expertise
- Thorough knowledge of USP 797 sterile compounding standards
- Excellent communication, multitasking, time management, and critical-thinking abilities
