Travel Pharmacist in Lewistown, PA

A hospital in need of a skilled pharmacist is seeking a travel pharmacist to support their team in a community hospital setting of approximately 150 beds. This position requires a highly responsible candidate ready to start as soon as possible and commit to a 6-8 month assignment.

Location:

• Lewistown, PA (travel opportunity with potential to relocate to the area)

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons, with some flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and healthcare team members
• Utilize hospital IT systems such as Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis to manage pharmacy workflow

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability required
• Experience working with Meditech system highly preferred
