A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA, starting ASAP. This contract role offers a commitment of 13 weeks or more, providing an excellent chance to apply your hospital pharmacy skills in a supportive environment.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Every 3rd or 4th Saturday off, with a Saturday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, managing pharmacokinetics, and supporting other pharmacy operations. The position utilizes EPIC and Pyxis systems, ensuring you engage with current hospital technology.
Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols is preferred but not mandatory
