Pharmacist | Littleton, New Hampshire

Support inpatient pharmacy operations at a hospital facility in Berlin, NH, providing critical medication management across multiple hospital units including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department. This contract pharmacist position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage.

Schedule / Hours

• Monday - Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekends every 3rd weekend: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Independently review, prepare, and dispense medications for inpatients in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and ensure safe medication use
• Provide clinical support across ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and ED units
• Manage medication distribution using Meditech and Omnicell systems
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Licensed Pharmacist with 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability to work independently, particularly during weekend shifts
• Experience with Meditech pharmacy information system preferred
• Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
