Per Diem Pharmacist - Livingston, Louisiana

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide coverage at a retail pharmacy location in Livingston, LA. The client regularly requests pharmacists for flexible shifts and aims to build a team of 1-2 pharmacists for ongoing future staffing.

Schedule Highlights:

• Monday, 9/14: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday, 9/15: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday, 9/18: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, 9/22: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication use.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Utilize pharmacy software to process prescriptions (experience with Rx30 is preferred but not required).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Comfort working part-time, per diem shifts.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software is an advantage.
