Pharmacist | Logan, Ohio

A healthcare facility with a 25-bed capacity is seeking a Temporary Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical support in Logan, OH. This role is critical to ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients across multiple specialty areas, including the Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify medication dispensing accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy in various clinical settings
• Utilize the EPIC order entry system to process prescriptions and maintain documentation
• Provide on-call pharmaceutical support as scheduled, including some weekend coverage
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license is required
• Proven experience with pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
• Familiarity with EPIC order entry system highly preferred
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6pm, with occasional Saturdays (8am-4:30pm) and on-call shifts
• Strong communication and organizational skills
