Pharmacist | Long Beach, California

A pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis in the Long Beach, CA area, starting as soon as 9/16. This role is ideal for candidates with strong pharmacy expertise who excel in ensuring safety and accuracy in medication dispensing while providing excellent customer service and supervision.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain an efficient and compliant workflow
• Consulting with patients and healthcare providers to provide expert advice regarding prescriptions and medication management

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacist license in the state of California
• Proven experience in RX dispensing and pharmacy operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills for effective consulting and team leadership
