Pharmacist | Long Beach, California

This position is for a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist at a well-established outpatient infusion and cancer center within a ~400-bed hospital located just east of Downtown Los Angeles.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, daytime shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and physicians to ensure optimal therapy and patient outcomes
• Utilize Allscripts electronic health records in daily operations

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license required
• Postgraduate Year 2 (PGY2) residency or approximately 3+ years of current experience in a cancer center pharmacy
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification preferred
