Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, four 10-hour shifts per week
Job Type: Contract, with potential for temp-to-perm placement
Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient pharmacy services in alignment with hospital policies and protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct thorough medication reviews
- Participate in competency assessments and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge
- Support pharmacy operational needs during contract period with the goal of transitioning to a permanent role
Desired Qualifications:
- Pharmacist licensure in California with an active license
- PGY1 residency completed or a minimum of two years current inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical and communication skills to thrive in a high-volume hospital setting
- Ability to pass a one-time competency exam crucial for continuation in the role
- Successful clearance of Livescan background check
