• Duration: Month-to-month contract with an initial 8-week booking
• Coverage Hours: Variable day and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, offering pharmacokinetics expertise and consultation
• Utilize Allscripts/Paragon Order Entry Systems for medication management and record keeping
• Manage medication dispensing through Pyxis automated cabinets, maintaining safety and compliance

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license with authorization to practice in California
• Proficiency using Allscripts and Paragon order entry systems
• Experience with Pyxis or similar automated dispensing cabinets
• Strong clinical knowledge including pharmacokinetics and medication therapy management
• Ability to oversee pharmacy technicians and contribute to interdisciplinary care teams
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
