Pharmacist - Long Beach, California

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide critical pharmaceutical care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and rehabilitation hospital setting. This role involves working closely with a diverse patient population, including many on ventilators, offering a dynamic and impactful work environment near a vibrant downtown location next to Dodger Stadium.

Location:

• Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Schedule:

• 4 days per week
• 10-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals on medication management and therapy decisions
• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license is required
• Experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferably LTAC or rehab
• Ability to effectively collaborate with medical staff in a fast-paced environment
• Local candidates preferred due to the need to start promptly
