Pharmacist in Long Beach, CA

A Pharmacist opportunity is available at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehab hospital setting in downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. This role involves supporting a patient population with complex needs, including many patients on ventilators.

Schedule and Duration:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Month-to-month contract
• Immediate start, ideally the week of 6/1

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring safety and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Consult with physicians regarding medication therapy and adjustments
• Participate in pharmacokinetics dosing and monitoring

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with LTAC or rehab patient care is a plus
• Local candidates are strongly preferred for ease of commuting and immediate start
