Pharmacist | Long Beach, California

A healthcare facility in downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium, seeks a Pharmacist to support its LTAC/Rehab hospital, caring for many ventilated patients. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to patient care in a dynamic inpatient setting.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with precision and accuracy
• Supervising and mentoring pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Consulting with physicians regarding medication therapies and adjustments
• Managing pharmacokinetics assessments to optimize patient dosing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Proven experience in an inpatient pharmacy environment, preferably in LTAC or rehab settings
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced hospital settings with complex patient needs
• Local candidates preferred for immediate start and ease of commute

This position is available on a month-to-month contract basis, starting as early as the week of June 1.
