Pharmacist - Long Beach, CA

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support an LTAC/Rehab hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. This role focuses on caring for patients in a ventilator-dependent setting, providing a unique and impactful clinical environment.

Schedule & Duration:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday schedule possible
• Contract position with month-to-month duration
• Start date targeted for the week of June 1st

Responsibilities:

• Order verification ensuring accuracy and safety of medication orders
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting workflow efficiency
• Consulting with physicians regarding medication therapies and pharmacokinetics
• Managing complex drug regimens typical in LTAC/Rehab patient care

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Experience working in an inpatient hospital setting
• Familiarity with ventilated patient medication needs is advantageous
• Local candidates preferred for quicker onboarding
