A Pharmacist position is available in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital setting located downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a patient population primarily consisting of individuals on ventilators, requiring specialized attention and expertise.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Day shifts
  • Tuesday, Thursday, and additional days as needed

Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain effective workflow and compliance
  • Consulting with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient medication management
  • Applying pharmacokinetics principles to individual patient care plans

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current California pharmacist license
  • Experience working in an inpatient or hospital setting
  • Ability to manage complex medication regimens, particularly in critical care environments
  • Local candidates preferred for ease of onboarding and collaboration

This is a contract position with month-to-month duration, ideal for candidates seeking flexible assignments in a dynamic healthcare environment.
