Inpatient Pharmacist - Longview TX

An inpatient pharmacist position is available at a large hospital in Longview, TX. This role offers a 13+ week contract with a consistent day-shift schedule and the potential for a blocked schedule. The ideal candidate will have current inpatient/clinical experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• 13+ weeks
• Temp-to-hire may be considered
• Blocked schedules may be considered

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians and nurses
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing
• Support neonatal and emergency medicine needs

Requirements:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• 1+ year of current inpatient/clinical experience
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Pharmacokinetic dosing experience
• Neonatal medication knowledge
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
