Pharmacist in Los Angeles, CA

An established hospital outpatient infusion and cancer center located just east of Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced oncology pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity. This approximately 400-bed facility provides specialized cancer care and outpatient infusion services in a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule and Setting:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
• Outpatient Infusion/Cancer Center

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy in dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient therapy regimens
• Utilize Allscripts pharmacy IT systems for order processing and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• PGY2 oncology residency or approximately three or more years of recent experience working in a cancer center pharmacy setting
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge of oncology therapeutics and protocols
