This opportunity seeks skilled pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a major Los Angeles County hospital. You will work a variable schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily afternoons and some variable days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense and verify medications in an inpatient setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Participate in medication therapy management and pharmaceutical care activities
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare for and successfully complete a competency examination required for onboarding
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with active US license
- Preference for candidates with Post-Graduate Year One (PGYI) residency or a minimum of two years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
- Ability to pass a competency exam and background Livescan screening
- Commitment to quality patient care and professional standards

- Hospital located in Los Angeles, CA, part of a large county health system with multiple hospitals and clinics
