This opportunity seeks skilled pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a major Los Angeles County hospital. You will work a variable schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily afternoons and some variable days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense and verify medications in an inpatient setting
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Participate in medication therapy management and pharmaceutical care activities
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare for and successfully complete a competency examination required for onboarding

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with active US license
  • Preference for candidates with Post-Graduate Year One (PGYI) residency or a minimum of two years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
  • Ability to pass a competency exam and background Livescan screening
  • Commitment to quality patient care and professional standards

Location:

  • Hospital located in Los Angeles, CA, part of a large county health system with multiple hospitals and clinics
