Schedule:

• Coverage hours vary, including day and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and physicians to ensure optimal patient care
• Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics in clinical decision-making
• Utilize Paragon and Allscripts systems for order entry and documentation
• Manage medication dispensing using Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current authorization to practice
• Experience with Allscripts and Paragon order entry systems
• Familiarity with Pyxis automation technology
• Strong communication skills and ability to consult effectively with clinical teams
