A full-time Pharmacist position is available in the Los Angeles area, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role will require flexibility to float between nearby sister hospitals, all located within a 10 to 15-mile radius. The position supports a licensed facility with 117 beds and an average daily census of 44 patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
• Consult regularly with nurses and physicians regarding medication management and patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapy
• Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems and manage Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets efficiently

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Experience with order verification and pharmacy technician oversight
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations within a multi-hospital system
• Knowledge of Allscripts/Paragon software and Pyxis systems preferred
• Strong communication skills to effectively consult healthcare teams

Schedule & Location:

• Full-time day shifts with variable coverage during day and afternoon hours
