A full-time Pharmacist position is available in the Los Angeles area with a contract duration of 2 to 3 months or longer. This role offers dynamic day and afternoon shifts and requires flexibility to float to sister hospitals within a 10-15 mile radius, providing diverse pharmacy experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient care
• Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics in medication management
• Utilize Allscripts/Paragon for order entry
• Manage medications through Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
• Adapt to different hospital environments within the assigned network as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in California
• Experience with automated dispensing systems, especially Pyxis
• Proficiency in order entry systems such as Allscripts/Paragon
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to manage and supervise pharmacy technician staff
• Flexibility to float among nearby hospitals within the network
