Pharmacist - Los Angeles, CA

A Pharmacist position is available in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital setting located in downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to Dodger Stadium. This role involves supporting a patient population with complex needs, including many ventilator-dependent patients.

The position is a contract opportunity with a month-to-month duration and offers a flexible schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week. It is ideal for candidates available to start as early as the week of June 1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate daily workflow
• Consult with physicians and healthcare teams on medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics and tailor drug regimens for critically ill patients

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in LTAC or rehabilitation settings
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Local candidates preferred for ease of transition and coverage continuity

Schedule:

• 4 days per week
• 10-hour day shifts
• Flexible to work Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays if needed
