A pharmacist opportunity is available for an 8 to 13+ week contract in the Los Angeles area, supporting a 117-bed facility with an average daily census of 44 patients. The position requires flexibility to float between sister hospitals within a 10 to 15-mile radius.

Responsibilities include order verification, oversight of pharmacy technicians, consulting with nurses and physicians, and handling pharmacokinetics. The role utilizes Allscripts/Paragon for order entry and Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets for medication distribution.

• Variable day and afternoon shifts

Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license
• Experience with Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems
• Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets
• Skilled in order verification and pharmacokinetics
• Ability to oversee pharmacy technicians and collaborate with clinical staff
• Comfortable floating to nearby hospital locations within the designated area
