Night Shift Hospital Pharmacist High Earning Potential

We are urgently seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Pharmacist for an immediate hospital need. This is a high-paying opportunity offering consistent overtime with a 4 nights/week schedule and strong earning potential.

The hospital is actively looking for pharmacists who can step in quickly and support overnight inpatient operations.

Start: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 8-week assignment

Schedule

• 4 nights per week
• 12-hour overnight shifts
• 48 hours/week
• Overtime paid after 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medication order verification and ensure safe dispensing practices
• Oversee pharmacy technicians during overnight operations
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and clinical support
• Support Pyxis automated dispensing cabinet operations and compliance
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Facility Overview

• 100 licensed beds
• Average daily census: 50 patients
• Inpatient hospital environment utilizing Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets

Qualifications

• Active CA Pharmacist license
• Prior inpatient/hospital pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with Pyxis systems 
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently on night shift
